Hello my fellow G’s! Hopefully you all liked the last post I did, I know it was some different content to some point but I feel it was something that needed to be addressed. Now let us get into the real reason I’m here.

We all saw how the Galaxy fell flat against FC Dallas and still have LA’s number. Dallas extends it to 8 home games versus the Galaxy that the Texas-based team wins. Watching the game the Galaxy didn’t seem inspired to be honest. LA went with a bit of a shake up in their line-up by putting Diego Fagundez in the “9” position with Dejan Joveljic out with a hamstring injury and well Miguel Berry not making a huge impact when he does come on the field.

Going back to the game, Dallas had a good game plan for the Galaxy, “Los Toros” knew how to contain them and minimize the spaces the Galaxy like to play in. Galaxy did not get any kind of play going and just seemed so flat in terms of offense created. I could be wrong but at halftime the Galaxy had barely 2 shots. They ended the game with 9 shots in total with just barely 1 of those shots on target. That stat right there is pretty bad.

The good thing that came out of this is that Real Salt Lake and LAFC both also lost and the top spot of the Western Conference is still in a 3-way tie between the latter teams and the Galaxy. With that being said the Galaxy will return home these next 2 games at Dignity Health Sports Park. The first one being on Wednesday July 17th against the Colorado Rapids. The Rapids are coming off a good run of form and will be looking to end Galaxy’s unbeaten run at home. Galaxy on the other end are returning home to get back to winning ways and keep their run of form before the League’s Cup. Honestly I don’t know what my prediction of this game could be as much as I want the Galaxy to win, Colorado are looking good and they area definitely looking to ruin the party in LA. My prediction is a 2-2 draw.

LET’S GO GALAXYYYYY!!!!!!
